Thank the NFL gods, we have warm weather games!
There will be 6 home games before thanksgiving this year, and only one Ralph Wilson Stadium home game in december, so for all the TV watchers out there, a lot more should be on TV this year!
Heres the full recap! (with some notes)
Preseason
Aug. 11 at Indianapolis, 1:30 p.m.
Aug. 16 Minnesota, 7 p.m.
Aug. 24 at Washington, 4 p.m.
Aug. 29 Detroit, 7 p.m.
Regular Season
Sep. 8 New England, 1 p.m. -Doug Marone gets thrown to the wolves early, and he better hope the NasKleOlb QB monster is up for a quick challenge.
Sep. 15 Carolina, 1 p.m. - It'll be nice to finally see Cam Newton in person, he's a dynamic talent, and Carolina should be better this year than last.
Sep. 22 at N.Y. Jets, 4:25 p.m. - Battle of the AFC east bottom feeders? Mike Pettine gets a chance to outshine Rex Ryan only three games into the season.
Sep. 29 Baltimore, 1 p.m.- For me, a much more likeable ravens squad now that RAy Lewis is retired. I'm already marking this one down as a defeat (Welcome to being a Bills fan!)
Oct. 3 at Cleveland (Thursday night), 8:25 p.m. - Another thursday nighters for our "primetime" game. Any fond memories of the 6-3 debacle from a few years back? Anyone...anyone...Bueller?
Oct. 13 Cincinnati, 1 p.m. - A bengals team that is certainly on the rise, with a good QB/reciever combo and a defense that keeps em' in games. Plus those helmets...
Oct. 20 at Miami, 1 p.m. - Miami spent on free agents like i spend a giftcard after christmas, BUY EVERYTHING! Lets see if it works out for them (or if it works out like how the EAgles did a few years back)
Oct. 27 at New Orleans, 1 p.m.- Is it too soon for a "New orleans is sinking" tragically Hip joke here? Drew Brees is still amazing, but the window is closing...
Nov. 3 Kansas City, 1 p.m. - The alex smith lead chiefs.... wow thats wierd to say
Nov. 10 at Pittsburgh, 1 p.m. - Battle of one rustbelt city who has arrived (Pitts) vs one that is on a fast rise up (Buffalo).
Nov. 17 N.Y. Jets, 1 p.m. - At this point both teams may still have pretend playoff hopes.
Nov. 24 Bye Week - a week to watch other, better teams play football all day.
Dec. 1 Atlanta (Toronto), 4:05 p.m. - Atlanta has superbowl aspirations, and its a shame they wont have to come into the ralph.
Dec. 8 at Tampa Bay, 1 p.m. 9 of the past 10 times these teams have met, its been in Tampa.... I sense this isn't an accident
Dec. 15 at Jacksonville, 1 p.m. - Are they an AFC east team? I swear we play them every year.
Dec. 22 Miami, 1 p.m. - Welcome to the snow, dolphins!
Dec. 29 at New England, 1 p.m. - Be thankful this game isn't a home game, we're going to be depressed by this time of the year anyways!!!
always an optimist!- Bob Z
