Events: Beerology at The Buffalo Museum of Science

What could possibly be better than science and beer put together? Well i would have a hard time finding an answer to that question. The annual "Beerology" happened last night at the Science Museum, and it was a sold out event as always.

There were a multitude of local and regional brewery's showing off their finest Lights and Mediums (we only spotted one truly dark beer), and their was a ton of deliciousness to go around. Some brewery's that attended were Great Lakes, Ommegang (one of my personal favorites), Flying Bison, Brooklyn Brewery, Southern Tier, Pearl Street, Community Beer Works and more.

My personal favorite was a
summer wheat beer from The Brooklyn Brewery, while the Pearl Street booth was packed as always.

Its great to be able to walk around the science museum with a cold beer in hand, learning about dinosaurs, the human body, all sorts of hands on exhibits and displays. I was able to touch a real dinosaur thigh bone that was hundreds of millions of years old, while sipping on a beer from the Pyramid Brewery, where else would i be able to do that (except maybe the old pink on allen! haha)

Every year this seems to get a little bigger and better, and we are certainly looking forward to next years!  -Bob Z
